Although rare, sometimes your course video will slow down and appear to stop momentarily.

Don't use the refresh button.

Your streaming video course can be impacted by Internet traffic, other users on your home or office DSL line, an incorrectly installed DSL modem, and a build-up of temporary Internet files on your hard drive.

Try these fixes: If others in your office or home are sharing a DSL line perhaps they could log off for a short time while you attend your course.

If you have other browser(s) open on your computer, as in multi-tasking --- you are the source of the problem. Close the other browser(s).

You may also want to check for correct installation of your DSL modem or have someone check it for you. It is a simple setup that is easy to check.

Also clear your browser's cache files:

Internet Explorer:

Click on: Tools \ Internet Options \ Browsing History –Delete button \ Temporary Internet Files – Delete button, say “Yes” to confirmation question.

Click on: Tools \ Options \ Privacy tab \ Private Data \ Settings, click on Cache button so that a check mark appears in the box, click OK. Then click on Clear Now button in the Private Data section.

Click on: Edit > Empty Cache, and then click Empty.

I logged off for a break, and now wish to get started again. How do I continue where I left off?

Click on the MyProfile menu button, and then make your selection.

Just an FYI: Don't use your browser's Refresh or Back button.

Instead, use the controls in the course area of the page.
